Business Mileage Tracker respects your privacy.

Information the App Stores

Business Mileage Tracker stores the trip information you choose to enter, including business name, category, purpose, client, notes, toll fee, parking fee, trip times, mileage, and related summary data.

This information is stored locally on your device in the app's own mileage store unless you choose to export or sync it.

Location Usage

The app may request When In Use location access so it can record start and end points for a trip while the app is open and a trip is actively being recorded.

The app does not describe itself as a background tracking service. Location data is used to support trip logging and route-mileage calculation inside the app.

CSV Export, Import, and Reports

If you export CSV files or a monthly reimbursement report, the exported files contain the trip data you selected for export. If you import a CSV file, the app reads that file on your device so the records can be merged back into your mileage history.

Google Drive Sync

Google Drive sync is optional. If you choose to connect a Google account, the app can upload its local mileage store JSON file and the latest CSV export to your own Google Drive.

The app does not require a MooMoo account. Google account authentication is handled through Google's sign-in flow, and any files uploaded through Drive sync are subject to your Google account and Google's own privacy practices.

Third-Party Analytics and Advertising

Business Mileage Tracker does not use advertising SDKs and is not described as an analytics-heavy service for sharing your mileage data with advertisers.

Data Sharing

Your trip data is not automatically shared with third parties by default. Data leaves the device only when you choose actions such as CSV export, reimbursement report export, or optional Google Drive sync.

Data Retention

Local trip records remain on your device until you delete them, remove the app, or replace them through your own import and editing actions. Files synced to Google Drive remain in your Drive until you remove them there.

Children's Privacy

Business Mileage Tracker is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the app adds new storage, sync, account, or online service features. Any updates will be reflected on this page with a revised Last updated date.
